Good Gluten, Bad Gluten

on December 29, 2011

Gluten, the “G” Word, gluten-free; what is the deal with gluten?

If you’re like me, you’ve heard bad things about gluten for a while now, but is it affecting you?

Many people across our country suffer from gluten sensitivity, or even celiac disease, and need to stay away from the stuff. What about the rest of us?

  1. I recently did a write up about this. I am a health enthusiast seeking to live longer, and gluten pops up in almost every disease I read about.

“Celiac disease, however, may be even more common than this, and may exist in a milder form among a much larger segment of the population.”

It is something that we cannot digest. It is something that causes inflammation every time we eat it. Even if we don’t suffer from the harsh version, Celiac disease, it does play a role in what we consider the normal happenings of aging.

    Thanks for sharing.
